For over 40 years, our physicians and surgeons have set the standard in caring for patients with complex kidney disorders. Of the nearly 250 kidney transplant programs in the United States, Northwestern Memorial ranks in the top five percent of all programs in the number of kidney transplants performed.

Clinical Research
Northwestern Memorial physicians are participating in a study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to identify a non-invasive marker for transplant rejection. Our physicians are also involved in several clinical research trials.
